Minutes April 6, 2016
A regular meeting of the New Underwood City Council was held at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Center on April 6, 2016. Present were: Mayor Jack Trullinger, Councilmembers: Larry Graham, Laurie Holloway, and Kathy Trullinger. Absent: Rikka Buchtel. Also present: Ione Wolf, Clerk, Tim Hall, Dir. of Public Works, Deputy Sheriff Sgt. Randy Harkins, Swimming Pool Manager Melanie Tish, Teresa Gossard, Marvin Rask, Ronnie Racicky, and Dianne Trullinger.

Moved by L. Holloway second by K. Trullinger to approve the March 16, 2016, minutes as presented. Aye: all. Motion carried.

OTHER ITEMS DISCUSSED:
The Cleanup Day is set for April 23, and April 24, 2016, with the dump being open from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and each household allowed to dump four tires.
The Pet Clinic is also scheduled for April 23, 2016, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon with Dr. Vicky Cook of the Cook Veterinary Clinic.
Public Works hauled truck load of tires to R.C. Landfill and has about one more load to haul. They are getting landfill ready for cleanup weekend. They are also hauling gravel from the gravel pit and are working on the distributor truck.
Mayor Trullinger reported Mr. Gossard is in Ohio, as the reason for the delay in rebuilding North C. Ave.
Mayor Trullinger also reported the Benita White Tax trailer will be moved in the late spring or early summer.
Melanie Tish reported on the changes regarding the swimming pool this summer.
Mayor Trullinger reminded the City Election is April 12, 2016, with the polls open from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and encouraged everyone to vote.
Being no further business Mayor Trullinger adjourned the meeting at 6:15 P.M.
