MINUTES OF THE

NEW UNDERWOOD CITY COUNCIL

A special meeting of the New Underwood City Council was held on September 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.  Present were: Mayor Benita White, Councilmembers: Jackie Dahlquist, Michael Green, Tyler Richter, and John Torrey.  Also present: The Fin. Officer Meri Jo Anderson.  The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Planning & Zoning Hearing on the Verizon Tower being placed at Boydston Site.

AGENDA

Motion by Torrey second by Dahlquist to approve the agenda.  Aye:  all.  Motion carried.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

Moved by Richter second by Dahlquist to go into executive session at 7:05 p.m. to discuss legal advice.  Aye:  Dahlquist, Green, Richter and Torrey. Nay:  none.  Motion carried.  Motion by Dahlquist second by Torrey to adjourn the executive session and return to regular session at 7:20 p.m.

APPEAL

Motion by Green second by Torrey to file an appeal with Planning & Zoning due to the coverage loss for people along the I-90 Corridor & the Citizens in the New Underwood Community at this proposed site.  Aye: all.  Motion carried.

 Being no further business the Mayor adjourned the meeting at 7:25 p.m.
