MINUTES OF THE
NEW UNDERWOOD CITY COUNCIL
A regular meeting of the New Underwood City Council was held at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall on January 5, 2021. Present were: Mayor Teresa Hall, Council members: Larry Graham, Tara Richter and by telephone, Tera Hockenbary. Absent: Kathy Trullinger. Also present: Meri Jo Anderson, Finance Director, Kristi Pritzkau, Finance Officer, Deputy Jones and Sgt. Harkins. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hall with the Pledge of Allegiance following.
AGENDA
Motion by Richter second by Hockenbary to approve the agenda. Aye: all. Nay: none. Motion carried.
MINUTES
Moved by Graham second by Richter to approve the minutes for December 15, 2020. Aye: all. Nay: none. Motion carried.
FINANCIAL REPORT & BILL LIST
The bill-list, savings sheet, monthly revenues and savings sheets were presented. Moved by Hockenbary seconded by Graham to approve the financial reports and the following warrants. Aye: all. Motion carried.

The New Underwood Volunteer Fire Department is having a fundraising event at the Community Center on January 9, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thank you to the Pennington County Highway Department for quickly replacing the stop sign with the yield sign at the junction of Hwy 1416 and 161st Ave.
Wall Meats is holding a meeting for producers at the New Underwood Community Center on January 27, 2020 at 6 p.m.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
Deputy Jones presented the monthly report.
SURPLUS
The surplus 1971 Wabco 666B Motor Grader will be advertised in the SD statewide Classifieds Network for $150.00 for one week.
Being no further business Mayor Hall adjourned the meeting at 6:09 p.m.
