ABATEMENTS OF NUISANCES

A signed citizen complaint was received on dormant vehicles located at 200 E. Pine, 204-212 S. “A” Ave, and 16068 Hwy. 1416. The Mayor reported the citizen at 200 E. Pine is putting tarps on his cars, and had been given an extra 20 days.  The property at 204-212 S. “A” has a fence around it, that was placed there by the City in exchange for the floodway easement agreement on his property in 1983.  The Council did not feel they could change an agreement that was made with this same property owner by another Council, especially since it involved a trade for land use.
